Hi, I’m Johann, the founder of Buneeze.

I’m a high school junior who spends most of my time balancing varsity basketball, a theater arts program, academics, and staying involved in my community. My days usually start early with basketball training, and when I’m not studying or rehearsing, I volunteer as an assistant basketball coach at my former middle school along with other community service projects. Giving back has always been important to me.

Like a lot of teens, I’ve had moments where confidence dips or motivation slips — choosing comfort over challenge or doubting myself when trying something new.

During a family summer vacation, we stopped in Los Angeles, and while visiting a famous shoe store, I found myself intrigued — my passion for sneakers made me stop and really take notice. Later, in Maui, everything came together. That’s when the idea hit me:
What if I created something meaningful that I’d be proud to wear — something that could inspire others to stay motivated too?

That’s where Buneeze began.

Built With Purpose, Effort, and Support

With a lot of hard work, the support of my family, and a willingness to learn everything from scratch, I started building this brand. I researched, designed, tested products, learned business basics, and slowly shaped Buneeze into something real.

Each piece of apparel is chosen with intention. I won’t put out anything I wouldn’t proudly wear myself. Comfort, style, movement, and confidence are at the core of everything I choose.

A Reminder to Stay On the Move

To me, Buneeze is more than clothing — it’s a mindset.
It’s a reminder to keep going, even when things feel uncomfortable. To keep moving forward in sports, school, arts, friendships, and personal growth. To be better than yesterday, even in small ways.

This brand has helped me build my own confidence, and my hope is that it can do the same for others.

I started Buneeze as a teenager, for teens and young adults who are figuring themselves out, chasing goals, and trying to become the best version of themselves. As the brand grows, I’m committed to staying connected to my community, supporting younger students, and inspiring others to move with purpose.
